| Origin of the Crisman 5k Race/Walk | ||

On the afternoon of November 3, 2002, two brothers from Amherst, NH, Kyle and Tim Crisman, lost their lives in an automobile accident in Peterborough, NH while returning home from a visit with their grandmother. A scholarship fund was established in their memory and each year two Souhegan High School students will benefit from this scholarship fund. To date the scholarship fund has awarded more than $30,000 to Souhegan High School students and numerous other organizations in and around the area. |

One scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a career in the culinary arts or restaurant management. |

A second scholarship will be awarded to a student with a passion for the automotive/business field. | |
